We understand that you want the best care and highest quality coaching for your child when choosing a camp. So here are a few answers to our parents most frequently asked questions.

Are your coaches vetted?

Yes. Every coach has completed an enhanced criminal records check and will be experienced to work with children. 

Are your coaches qualified?

Yes. We provide expert coaches with qualifications and exceptional personal skills so that they can positively inspire your children.

What are the camp opening times?

Our Camp England multi-activity sports camps run from 8.30am to 4.30pm, with the extended day options from 8am to 6pm. 

All specialist sports camps, such as tennis, football, hockey, cricket, netball, lacrosse and gymnastics run from 10am to 4pm, with the extended day options from 8am to 6pm.

When are the camps running?

Our multi-activity sports camps and tennis camps run throughout every school holiday period. For all other specialist sports camps, dates can vary depending on the sport and venue, please check our camp locator on the home page.

What if my child is not sporty?

Our camps cater for children at all levels of sporting ability with the right mix of sport and fun recreational activities. Our coaches are very good at encouraging less sporty children to attempt new challenges, whilst providing them with many alternative activities. We put a big emphasis on Fun First and Inspiring Participation. For specialist sports camps children are grouped according to their age, experience and level of play.

What if my child is shy, or does not know anyone at the camp?

Our Camp England team is specifically trained to build social skills in every child throughout the camp experience. We believe that sport builds social skills and self-esteem, and a big part of the camp is our team facilitating new friendships. 

Are friends grouped together at the camp?

Absolutely. We take special care to make sure that friends get to experience the camps together and make sure new friends are made as well. 

It's a long day - what if my child gets tired?

Each day is structured with regular breaks for rest, snacks and hydration. Every session is tailored to children's energy levels and in the afternoon, there are always less active activities to choose from for those that want to rest.
